Common questions

Tap the big button — that's the whole design. You can also start from a template, say "Start my shift in Stintkeep" to Siri, map the Action Button to it, or let automatic shifts open a scheduled day for you. Ending is the same button. Forgot to end? Edit any shift's times afterwards — edits are marked on the record so it stays honest.
Check Settings → Stintkeep → Live Activities on your iPhone and make sure they're allowed. The Dynamic Island appears on iPhone models that have one; on other models the same activity lives on the Lock Screen. iOS also ends any Live Activity after several hours by protocol — the shift itself keeps tracking regardless, so nothing is lost.
Yes — open any day in History to adjust times, breaks, pay or notes, or add a shift you didn't track live. Changes are marked on the exported record, which is what makes it something you can stand behind: it shows what was recorded live and what was amended.
Settings → export a backup. Everything you've tracked becomes one file you keep wherever you like — Files, a drive, an email to yourself. On a new iPhone, import that file and everything comes back. Because Stintkeep has no cloud, this file is your backup; we recommend exporting one now and then. Your purchase moves over separately with Restore Purchases.
You can set reminders around upcoming shifts — before a start, or when a planned end approaches. Stintkeep only asks for notification permission at the moment you actually create a reminder, never before.
English, Deutsch, Français and Español — chosen on the very first screen, before anything else, and switchable any time from Settings or the globe button. The change applies live, no relaunch needed.
Tap Restore Purchases on the paywall. Your plan lives with your Apple account, so it follows you to any device signed into it. Offer codes can be redeemed from the paywall too.
No. Everything you tracked is still on your device, and the app always leaves you a way to export it — your work history is yours, full stop. If the plan ended because a card expired rather than by choice, the app says so and points you at Apple's payment settings instead of charging the same card again.
No location tracking, no background monitoring, no motion sensing. A shift is exactly the time between your start tap and your end tap — nothing is inferred, and nothing leaves the device.
